Charles K. Herman, M.D., Medical Director

Dr. Charles K. Herman, Medical Director, Pocono Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, graduating summa cum laude with Distinction in Research. He completed his plastic surgery training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine program in New York City. Dr. Herman was honored with the Leo Davidoff Award for excellence in teaching plastic surgery to students. He continues to hold his appointment as Attending Surgeon, Department of Plastic Surgery, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Herman is Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has authored a variety of articles in highly esteemed journals and textbooks, and has presented at several national and regional plastic surgery meetings.

Dr. Herman is excited to join the staff of Pocono Medical Center and expand the plastic and reconstructive surgery services available to patients in Monroe and surrounding counties.
